How to find us

Bike

There are bicycle racks outside the main entrance to the building. Please be aware that you will be responsible for the security and safety of your bicycle. the Floral Pavilion is easily accessible along a number of cycle routes that can be found across Wirral.

From Liverpool Lime Street or Chester

Take the Wirral Line (underground) to New Brighton Station. Turn left into Atherton Street, walking downhill towards the promenade.

Once reaching Kings Promenade, turn right and walk in the direction of the Lighthouse/Fort for approximately five minutes.

Direct trains to Liverpool Lime Street can be caught from:

Birmingham New Street, Blackpool North, Crewe, Huddersfield, Leeds, London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Milton Keynes, Preston, Wigan North Western, Wolverhampton, and York.

Direct trains to Chester can be caught from:

Birmingham New Street, Cardiff, Crewe, Holyhead (Ireland Ferry), and Manchester Piccadilly.

Approaching from North & South

  • Exit the M6 motorway at Junction 20 heading for the M56 Chester and North Wales.
  • Join the M53 for Ellesmere Port and Liverpool Docks.
  • Exit the M53 at junction 1 and turn left onto the A554 to Wallasey and New Brighton.
  • Follow the A554 to the end of the promenade, the Floral Pavilion is located opposite Fort Perch Rock.

From Liverpool

  • Take the Kingsway Tunnel from Liverpool to Wirral. After passing through the toll booth exit onto the second slip road for New Brighton Promenade, keeping to the left.
  • Take the third exit off the roundabout and follow the A554 to the end of the promenade, the Floral Pavilion is located opposite Fort Perch Rock.

From Chester

  • Join the M53 motorway for Ellesmere Port and Liverpool Docks
  • Exit the M53 at junction 1 and turn left onto the A554 to Wallasey and New Brighton.
  • Follow the A554 to the end of the promenade,, the Floral Pavilion is located opposite Fort Perch Rock.

Car Parking

Fort Perch Rock car park  opposite the Floral Pavilion has unrestricted parking, along with Marine Promenade and Kings Parade. Further parking is available on Victoria Road.

Please note that the area to the rear of the theatre is residents parking only. These streets are regularly patrolled by enforcement officers. Please check for the usual signs on lamposts etc.

There are a number of disabled parking spaces near to the entrance of the theatre.
