WE’LL MEET AGAIN
Our World War II show follows Lucy, a young girl from Liverpool who is evacuated to Wrexham. She leaves everything she knows behind to start a new life. No one knows when the evacuees will be coming home. When she arrives in Wales, she meets Tom Jones, a young boy from the host family she is to be staying with. Although cold to begin with, we see their relationship blossom and grow as they learn about each other’s lives and the city children integrate into the countryside.
Using letters back home, we see how Mr Parry copes in the middle of the blitz. We also learn about rationing and how food was seen as a precious commodity that had to be shared out, so people did not starve.
As the war ends, Lucy has stopped receiving letters from her father. Will she see him again, or has something horrible happened to him? Find out, as you and your families enjoy our musical WWII show. There is plenty of singing, dancing, and lots of audience participation too!
THE GODLY GREEKS
Through puppetry, music, swords, a severed head and a whole host of other props our Greek show will bring alive several Greek Myths. Our hero Joel falls asleep and wakes up in Ancient Greece. He has to travel with his father Daedalus to Crete where they must serve King Minos. After escaping the island Joel then has to battle King Minos’ Minotaur as Theseus the Prince of Athens. Along his journey he meets the kind(but very annoying) Princess Ariadne who promises to help him kill the Minotaur in return for safe passage off the island. Joel then becomes Zeus himself and has to learn all about what it’s like to be a God. When Prometheus tricks
Zeus, he is punished and so is his brother. Joel’s final adventure takes him to meet Pandora, who only wants one thing in this world; the box.
