Following their 10th Anniversary sell out West End Summer School, Stage Ed are thrilled to be returning to the Floral Pavilion Theatre in Easter 2023!

During the summer, they worked on Hamilton, Six, Blood Brothers, The Play That Goes Wrong, Encanto and Annie.

Working in Junior and Senior age groups, this Easter holiday they will be freshennig things up and introducing Harry Potter, Heathers, Back to the Future, Matilda and Lyle Lyle Crocodile.

Those that just want to be part of the chorus and sing some of the songs from their favourite films and musicals will have the time of their life, and those that are really passionate about any element of the performing arts will have the chance to shine.

Barry Steele and a fabulous cast of musicians and singers will take you on a musical journey from 'The Sun Years’ right through to The Traveling Wilburys. They promise they’ll have you dancing in the aisles, with two fantastic shows in one great evening. 

In 1988 Roy Orbison performed alongside Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello and KD Lang at The Cocoanut Grove, Los Angeles in what was to become known as ‘The Black and White Night TV Special.’ In Barry Steele and Friends, the evening opens with style as they pay tribute to this award-winning show with their version of this TV Classic.

As a great friend of Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak has collected many awards on behalf of The Orbison Family – known as the Orbison of the 90s, he also recorded many of Roy Orbison’s hits – in Barry Steele and Friends the compliment is returned as Barry Steele presents stunning versions of global smash hits ‘Blue Hotel and Wicked Game. 

In 2018 Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly toured the world on the Hologram tour. In Barry Steele and Friends, the brown-eyed handsome man joins the show to give you the classic hits Oh Boy! In 2017 Roy Orbison’s classic hits were remastered by The Philharmonic orchestra, in Barry Steele and Friends we bring Roy Orbison’s legacy into the 21st Century show with critically acclaimed symphonic versions of Heartbreak Radio, Blue Bayou, It’s Over and of course, Running Scared.

In 1988 Roy Orbison joined a group of iconic artists known collectively as ‘The Traveling Wilburys. Their musical legacy remains as vital and as popular today as it was back in the day. FOCUS

After a series of covid cancelled shows, Focus return to the Floral Pavilion to celebrate a remarkable 50 plus years in the business. This show promises an enormous hits-packed set spanning every year of this incredible band’s journey. Hocus Pocus indeed!

With their unique brand of progressive rock, Focus manifested themselves at the start of the 70s as the most successful and appreciated of all the Dutch pop-rock exports. Fronted by founding member Thijs Van Leer, and best known for their hits Hocus Pocus, House of The King and Sylvia, as well as critically acclaimed albums Moving Waves, Focus 3 and Hamburger Concerto, the iconic Dutch music masters are back with, which is guaranteed to please their legions of fans!

After a comeback in the early 00s, which resulted in the well-received albums Focus 8 and Focus 9, the band regrouped with a fantastic new line-up. Along with Thijs van Leer on vocals, flute and keyboards, back on the drums is famed Focus drummer Pierre van der Linden, who joined the group on their second album Moving Waves in 1972. Internationally renowned for his rhythmic skills, Pierre remains a defining factor in the Focus sound. Bassist Udo Pannekeet, and guitarist Menno Gootjes, who participated in Focus at an earlier stage, complete the band’s current line-up.

A new Focus era has arrived, there is a rejuvenated passion in the new compositions that adorn the new album Focus X, which features a full-scale Roger Dean painting on the cover, says Thijs van Leer, who holds the distinction of being the first-ever knighted musician in Holland.

Internationally acclaimed musician Brian Cummins brings this stunning show celebrating the music of Jeff Lynne and ELO, with a band of amazing musicians including a female string section. This will be a fabulous night of hit after hit from such a vast back catalogue.

Jeff Lynne and ELO famously carried on the legacy of The Beatles by, in the band's own words, carrying on from where I Am The Walrus left off, Combining classical music with motifs of the greats with Rock and Roll, like no other musician before. The album Out of the Blue released in 1977 catapulted them into rock history and truly made them one of the biggest bands in the world at the time.

After many years of touring Jeff parted ways with the band to focus on producing some of the greatest musicians of the time namely, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney and The Beatles.

Jeff resurrected the ELO legacy in 2014 with a new line-up and a mammoth stage show and has been touring the world arenas and stadiums to this day.

The ELO Tribute Show has an amazing light and laser show and 3D video screens very similar to Jeff’s current backdrop. Adapted from Helen Forrester’s million-selling book, By The Waters Of Liverpool is a stunning period drama set in the 1930s. The story opens in 1935. Helen is sixteen years old and fighting a bitter battle with her parents for the right to educate herself and go out to work. During the Great Depression, Helen’s father lost his fortune when the stock market crashed and the family were suddenly thrown into poverty. Leaving behind the nannies, servants and comfortable middle-class life in the South West of England, the Forrester’s chose Liverpool as the place to start over.
 
They were in for a terrible shock. Taken out of school to care for her younger brothers and sisters while her parents struggled to re-build their shattered lives, Helen is treated as an unpaid slave and desperate to escape. By 1939, now aged twenty and with Britain on the brink of war, she has still never been kissed by a man. But things start looking up for Helen when she meets a tall strong seaman and falls in love.

I’ve even weaved in a storyline from Helen’s fourth autobiography, Lime Street At Two. That way those unfamiliar with Helen’s work still get a complete picture of her life”. Bootleg Blondie is the official Debbie Harry & Blondie tribute band and the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGBs in New York City before its demise in 2006. CBGB was the Holy Grail of American Punk and New Wave, where the real Blondie first kicked off their career.

Debbie and Andy got married in March 2016 and to their great delight received two video messages from both Blondie and Debbie Harry herself congratulating them on their wedding day. What a wedding present!
And probably the best Xmas present in the world ever was in 2016 when Clem Burke came along to a Bootleg Blondie gig and actually got up and played drums on stage with the band! He said afterwards that watching and playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional. Well Bootleg Blondie were very touched by Clem’s presence!!!

In May 2017 Bootleg Blondie had the unbelievable honour of being mentioned on Blondie’s 11th studio album Pollinator and in January 2019 Clem Burke joined the band playing full shows on a major UK tour.
Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell. Like her heroine she is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t-shirts with more holes than t-shirt!

Kenny hits the road with his all-star band of musicians performing his biggest UK theatre tour in over 20 years including some of the UK’s most prestigious venues including London’s Indigo at The O2 on Saturday 2nd December. This all comes off the back of a sell out club tour in April 2022, with Kenny finishing the year with an incredible headline performance at one of London’s most iconic venues, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
