Visually and musically exhilarating ***** (Daily Mail)
Sheer Fun from start to finish **** (Daily Express)

Celebrating 25 wonderful years of Gilbert & Sullivan, the acclaimed National G&S Opera Company sail back into New Brighton with four fantastic, brand-new productions for their 2018 season.

IOLANTHE, National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company
accompanied by the National Festival Orchestra

Iolanthe, the seventh of the Savoy Operas, is a topsy-turvy love story about fairies and members of the House of Lords - a political fairy tale that only Gilbert & Sullivan could conceive and containing some of their most famous music including The March of the Peers and Private Willis’s When All night Long. Gilbert at his satirical best and not to be missed!

Directed by Cav. Vivian Coates and conducted by James Hendry (ROH)
