Always amongst its most popular concerts, Wirral’s own Symphony Orchestra invites you to their annual Yuletide celebrations, with music for all ages to get your Christmas well and truly underway.

Along with the Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Small, Christmas Joy features the children’s choirs of St Bridget’s Primary School, West Kirby (2.15pm), and St Peter’s Primary School, Heswall (5.30pm), performing a wonderful selection of some of the Christmas-themed music, old and new, that we know and love - and of course there will be traditional carols for everyone to join in. So put your mince pies on hold, forget about the shopping for a day, and come along to the Blue Lounge for a truly festive musical feast!

Now in its 5th Year at The Floral Pavilion this wonderful show will bring the magic of Christmas alive as children will be captivated by traditional and modern stories as well as plenty of festive songs to join in with, in what promises to be a fun experience for the whole family.

Relaxed Performance (Autism Friendly)
A relaxed performance is about welcoming adults and children with special needs (including Autistic Spectrum Conditions and/or learning disabilities) and, crucially, their families to the theatre to a performance where those needs are accounted for with a more relaxed atmosphere and some changes to the production itself if necessary eg: lowering of lights or sound at certain points of the show.

We can provide you with a clear synopsis of the show if needed. There is a special ‘chill-out’ zone which can be used during any point of the performance. This will be a safe and supervised space for audience members to come out if they should wish to take time out. And there’ll be lots of friendly members of the Front of House team on hand.

As the oldest Panto society in the Country, and 5 time nominees of the 'Best Pantomime' award, you will enjoy a show full of local talent, comedy, dancing and fabulous costumes.
